Great informative video. We have just purchased one and will be with us shortly. I am so happy I came across this video as I had it in my head to build the roof first and lift it up on to the base (PHEW) I don't have long arms but some happy helpers. I am definitely going to view your other video on how you sealed the roof. Thank you.

Great video. Thank you. Just installed mine, but it did not come with the bottom butress corner railings that you have that I think would prevent sway in a strong wind. Do you know if and where these might be purchased separately? I contacted Outsumny cust omer service here in Canada, but they were of no help. Thanks in advance for any guidance. Dave

very good video. I have put ours up aswell. However it leaks between that both the polycarbon pieces where that middle piece goes in. im just wondering i put the wider side on top and narrower side at the bottom. When looking at the instructions it says bigger side should be at the bottom. Any help or advice would be great! thanks

@MRCarybuck2 жыл бұрын
Hi the construction of the gazebo only took one day to complete, for me this was kind of a low medium difficulty to build as I have a building background anyway but for someone who does not have any building experience or DIY experience this could be quite a challenge as ithe nstructions are not the clearest so hopefully this video will help you to achieve the installation in a quicker finishing time thanks for watching.

What size screws did you use. I bought and noticed that wood screws are not included in the parts list.
@MRCarybuck2 жыл бұрын
Hi James If you are putting the Gazebo on decking then it will depend on the thickness of your decking board mine are 28mm thick so I have used a anti rust or decking screw 5 x 30 wood screw to anchor each of the legs to the decking, Thanks for watching and I hope this helps you out.

Hi! I wanted to ask if you had any concerns regarding the weight of the gazebo on your wood deck? We have composite decking and wanted to get a hard top gazebo as well but were concerned about the weight of it on the deck. Should we screw the support on to the deck or should we use a weight for the legs instead? Thank you!

hi mate, does this still let light through or is it very dark? any video to show this plz?

Hi yes it lets in loads of light the roof is polycarbonate so allows the light to come through, you can buy ones that have a solid metal roof so guessing that type would be quite dark,

I went for the outsunny 84C 177 with built in solar. and just started on the legs. what i find most annoying in the instructions is the lack of literal assembly instructions all picture format, while seeming straight forward I'm still a little puzzled with the many parts involved. Hence my KZbin search for someone erecting this or one like it to give me a rough idea what everything is and where it goes. Given it cost over a grand would hate to miss something crucial
@MRCarybuck2 жыл бұрын
Hi Paul yes I agree the installation manuals are not the best at detailing the instructions and can be a bit frustrating but I Hope my video on installing mine as given you some insight on how to to erect the gazebo, Thanks

@@MRCarybuck Hi Thanks for your reply. After much swearing and cussing i finally conquered the task and for my efforts i must admit it looks the part and fits right in with the decking and garden. If i may impart one further question, You've had yours up for nearly a year now so if you could give me the low down on how it's performed over the period and not suffered any structural issues during the storms experienced over the year. It would be handy to know the strengths and weaknesses during inclement weather. Many thanks.

Do this Gazebo last though the winter or do you have to take it down?
@MRCarybuck24 күн бұрын
Hi, I've had this one up now for three year through all the UK winter seasons and its still standing and looking good, The only thing I would advise is to bolt the legs of the gazebo down, I have mine on decking and its screwed down to the timber, so when in any strong winds its okay, hope this helps and thanks for watching the video,

Has anyone managed to get replacement roof panels for the Outsunny
@2012gfdАй бұрын
I was hoping you’d share how many people it took to raise and secure the roof frame pieces onto the base. You totally skipped that process. There’s two of us but we’re wondering if we need 4 total to lift it and mount it.

Hi yes the base plate (shown at 2:48 in the video) that the support leg/column sits on is 120 x 120mm and the support leg/column ( shown at 2:08 in the video) is 75 x 75mm I hope this answers your question and thanks for watching

What did you use to fix it to your decking?
@MRCarybuck3 жыл бұрын
Hi, I used decking screws to fix the legs to the decking as these are a non rust Screw and designed to grip the timber but I suppose you could use any wood screw to anchor the Gazebo so long as they are a non rust. Hope this helps with your own project. Cheers

I was going to get one with these slightly clear roof panels but those are looking flimsy so for the price I might as well go the extra $200 and get proper metal panels.
@MRCarybuck Жыл бұрын
Hi Xeric thanks for your comment, I have no complaints regarding this gazebo with the polycarbonate roof I've had this one now for two years and it defiantly not flimsy it a good strong construction roof when erected correctly, its put up with all types of the British weather over the past two years, of course if you have the budget for the full metal roof then this would be a good option too thanks,

@@MRCarybuckwe have one and it’s slightly older and was under a few pines trees with insane squirrels. The squirrels drop pine cones onto the gazebo top and caused a few holes. We need to replace a few of the polys. Can’t find any replacements

@MRCarybuck3 жыл бұрын
Hi Steve, probably a bit early to say as its only been up for a month, but in the first week we had a couple of leaks when it rained from where the two polycarbonate sheets meet in the middle with the joining strip 12:17 in the video, but I have sorted this by running a bead of clear silicone down the inside ridge of the metal strips where the first polycarb sits in 12:29 It does not tell you any of this in the manual but really it should, I will be doing an update video on this very soon so you can see exactly what i have said above. but apart from that the Gazebo as been fantastic I will also update you when we have some bad weather and see how it holds up, Thanks

I am not going to let amazon "reveiewers" scare me away from getting the hexogonal outsunny. some people say the roof panels would "fall on their head and bonk them" obviously the directions that come with these things are crap but that is the way of all gazebos.
@MRCarybuck2 жыл бұрын
Hi Fucheduck, yes you are right the directions that are provided with these gazebos are not the clearest but I can say since I installed this back in March 2021 the Gazebo has been absolutely solid even through its first winter, once It gets to its first year in March I will be doing a update video on how its held up and how to clean the Gazebo, Thanks for watching and I hope the video will help you when you get your Gazebo.
