How To Install a Head Unit In a 2011 Toyota Corolla (EASY)

Today we installed an aftermarket head unit in our Toyota Corolla. If you have a 2008-2013 Toyota Corolla this is the process you need to follow.

How is it working so far? Does the screen take a while to start once the car starts? How much did you spend on the screen and would you recommend the one you used ?

Does this also have a back up camera?

It does but we have to get it professionally installed because we don’t have to tools to do it

so basically the bew harness gets hooked up to the old harness ? this works on 2010 too? and where did you put the other end of the usb

It should work for that model year as well. As for the USB we actually routed the cable around to where it will be in the lower glove box. That’s where the USB cable are at. We did not have to drill any holes for that but if you want a hole then you can drill a hole for the cable to go through. And yes the new harness gets hooked up to the old harness.
