You can download mods via the paradox website if they're hosted there. Also you could try to download the mods manually and drag them into location where the gamepass keeps hoi4. Lmk if that helps at all

Hey So this was really helpful but I have a question. How do you get back to the regular game Ive been stuck on the mod and I’ve even tried unsubscribing from the mod and it still won’t be removed how do you remove the mod because no matter what I try it always takes me to the mod I have already removed should I make a play set without any mods added into it?

That's a good start! Try that first. Also worst case you can make sure your unsubscribed from the mod on the workshop and then uninstall the game and delete the hoi4 folders from pc. Let me know if you have any luck! :)

How many mods can you have on at once?

Technically there’s no set number, but most mods won’t work together so you will have to play around and find the right mod combo to work together :)

Some mods do need dlc, you can see on the steam workshop page if dlc is required. I'll have to double check tno but it might.
