on my Nintendo switch lite I forgot to put the micro SD card I have 27 GB left and I have the 128 GB sandisk card. I entered the micro sd card but for some reason it’s not working? do I have to put my console on sleep mode and then put my sd card I already have one game on my console only one game.

I’m having the same issue but I have no idea. If you hold down your on button you will see power option and turn it off! Then try that all I can say

Do not buy a 2TB. It doesn't exist yet. It's all scams. Buy a 1TB, which is usually sold as 1024GB.

@HowToWith GEO: Their is one major problem with micro SD card, once a micro SD card just decided I'm not working anymore, it lock all your game, even the games that did not used Micro SD card, it also lock-up physical copy of game that does not have save data on the micro Sd card. So I had to re-initialize my nintendo switch without deleting save state, and the micro SD card did not even want to re-format, so I still lose all my data in Super Smash bros. Ultimate, since it is not cloud back-up compatible. This might have happen because I played against a player that hack is Nintendo switch in Yugioh master duel and it was random people because it was in the regulation link festival. Now I have to buy another microSD since I can't found my extra one, that will cause me 100$ that I don't have for a 64 giga bit. I do not remember the price.

If that's US dollars, whoever you're buying your micro SD cards from is ripping you off big time. 100GB cards only cost around $20 to $40 if you buy a SanDisk card, and they're one of the more expensive brands to buy from. Sorry in advance if you don't use US $ tho. And in either case, I hope you have/will figure out a solution to your tech issues!

@@mr_los7 The only thing I did was turn off the switch, put the micro sd card in (make sure it is secure) and turn the switch back on. If you go to memory settings the card should appear there automatically. I bought the card on the video so I didn't do anything else. Any new games you install go there automatically.

@HowToWith GEO: Maybe the reason why all of the sudden it decided to stop working on the Nintendo switch was probebly because it was a Micro SD that does not have Nintendo switch mention on it, because when I test the broken SD card on a PC it would not work untill I fix it, and then it only work on PC it would not re-format on the Nintendo switch since I rested my Nintendo switch, so I was still worried that the new one that I bought would not work on my Nintendo switch, if it was the connecter, so at the time I had to wait to get it delivered because that was the only way to return it if it does not work, if I bought it in the store and it does not work I can't return it, and then that SD card only work for the Nintendo switch since it says Nintendo switch on it. Turn out it works and it did not cost too mush about 30$ canadian dollar with the tax for a 128 GB, when I place it it did not ask to re-format but it shows 119GB the reason for that it used the other GB to make sure it works properly. Maybe the more likely thing that happen an Nintendo update might have broken my micro SD that does not have the name Nintendo switch because the update would auto assume it is used for hacking as long as it does not have the name Nintendo switch on it.
