Hey whats the use of the engine tabs bc i have a 1.0 losi is it so that the screws don't break thru or something
@largescalercnation2 жыл бұрын
The top plate? It just keeps the engine mesh sturdy with chassis flex. They make aftermarket plates for the 1.0 5T 👍

I need some help from you, I broke my clutch screw and drilled it out, now I’m trying to re assemble my clutch, my pinion gear does not spin very freely when fully torqued, is there supposed to be some resistance? Or just free spinning
@largescalercnation4 жыл бұрын
Yes it should spin freely
@nitrogas57194 жыл бұрын
@@largescalercnation hmm, mine doesn’t, it kind of feels like it doesn’t keep spinning when I tighten the screw down

@@nitrogas5719 when fully tightened it should spin freely. Is the clutch and springs mounted correctly? It would be easier to help it I was able to see it 😕

Make sure you have the washers under the clutch, spring washers on top and then your bolts. Make sure the clutch shoes (arrows) are facing out towards you and not towards the motor. Align the bell over the clutch and make sure you locktite the clutch screws. I’ll make a video on this once my bartolone clutch carrier comes in. Hope I was able to help you out Brotha 😎👊

You said this gear gives you more bottom end. What's it do to top end speed?
@largescalercnation4 жыл бұрын
The smaller the pinion = more torque/ bottom end but will give less overall speed. Which is good for racing tight tracks. Larger pinion = less bottom end and more top end speed. The size tooth gear depends on your situation 👍
@stgraves2604 жыл бұрын
I thought the more teeth the more torque. The less teeth the more top end? 18 Tooth will have more top end. 22-25 tooth will give you more out of the hole bursts.

No it’s opposite. Think of a mountain bike. The smaller the gear, more torque, less top end speed. Turns faster
