At TST Industries we've built a reputation on being different. It's our greatest strength and what has set us apart from other aftermarket companies. Our new taillight for the 2013+ ZX6R is just another example of how being different once again has yielded the best, most unique taillight on the market. About the only resemblance this light has to the OEM version is the mounting location. We created a whole new look with two ducts that extend into the lens, providing killer depth to this shape. We then split the lens down the middle with a peaked divider to create a modern, sharp design. Combine these external features with some ingenious LED use and you have yourself a taillight that is as incredible in form as it is in function. You won't see this level of engineering, quality, and attention to detail from other companies in the industry!

@@TSTindustries So the good and the no so good. The good. The lights looks flippin awesome. I have not seen a better rear motorcycle tail light better. The flashing of the LEDs when you Break is just awesome...just like a race car. The sweeping indicators look great as well...and the LEDs are bright and clearly visible. Also the design of the light is better than the OEM. The shape with the air vents look great. All in all really tidys up the rear end and the anthracite grey colour blends into the underneath of the seat. Looks fantastic. Now the not so good is...the light does leave a slight gap when fitted. No matter what you try you cannot seem to close up the fairings to have a complete flush fitted unit. Also the resistors used to lower the speed of the flashing are not that great. They get extremely hot. So hot you cannot touch them. I was a little worried about it melting some other wires under the rear seat cowel once I put everything together. TBH this old style of resistor is inferior and was surprised that this was even offered as an option when I purchased my light. I had to wrap my resistors in a heat shield to ensure if I did leave my indicators on for long they would not get hot and damage something else. The price of the light is not cheap compared to rivals and for me living in the UK it gets expensive when you have to pay for additional shipping and customs. I can see why TST offer the Relay. This should be offered FOC with the unit as most people if not all will need this on the install. Other than that happy with the product.

@@ebk7216 Thank you for your valuable comments. I appreciate the praises you sent us and also the careful constructive criticism. We can't continue to improve if we don't hear back from our customers and that is why I always like to get the good/bad ...all of it. I don't want to write up a response that could come across as some sort of rationalization so I will just keep it brief. Not everyone needs a relay for their setup...some people already have one from a previous installation and some people for some reason prefer fast flash. The relay will remain a separate item that people may want to purchase or not. I don't know what to say about a gap. In our installations here during and after the design phase we had the same quality alignment and same size gaps as the OEM light. There was no reason for us to change the design. As for our competing companies in the lighting field, they just copy the OEM geometry of the tail light and put in their own circuit, and maybe some do an internal reflector. The way we design takes a LOT more time and requires a different level of sophistication. Time spent on design of the aesthetic, then the engineering time to make this light manufacturable, and the cost of several molding tools to make the parts, all rolls into the pricetag that you see. In our market here in the USA you actually see some inferior lights cost more than ours because of how the manufacturer structures their distribution. We do have two competing companies that deal directly with customers and have lights around our lights price range. They are the ones we hold in high regard because they have a good product at the right price. Anyway, I hope that you see that we are structured to enhance our coustomers' experience with their bike and not just a money making machine. Money is just a byproduct of doing what we love.

I just installed this on my 2015 kawasaki ninja 636. And wow what an amazing buy. Easy to install no doubt. Just plug and play is all u need. Though i must say the wires were not easy to get to. In the video the guy pulls them basically all the way out. Yea in all actuallity, its pretty tightly snugged in but it can be done. If u buy this u must buy the the replacement for the oem flasher. For those who dont know, when u plug and play u will see that once installed, the lights flash faster then they are suppose to because of the led lights. On the tst website it shows a link when ur purchasing ur taillights..... its a grey resister that plugs right into the stock oem flasher plug. It took me 3 minutes to install that. Basically it slows down the speed of the flashing so that it matches the stock speed with the front turn signals. Im still learning how to work on my bike and even i was able to do this task with the video. Ive been very impressed with these lights and i highly recommend tst to anyone looking for top notch great quality parts.

The reason i said to buy the part for the flashing is because it just goes too fast with the stock oem part. Doesnt have the same effect when ur lights are on. Once the tst part is in place, the turn signal and tailight pulse in perfect unison...... if u dont buy the grey resistor, you have to splice wires and all that. Do yourself a favor, when u go to purchase the taillights by tst, it will show a recommened buy at the bottom at a discounted rate. Basically parts that go with taillights...... i recommend you add them to your cart.

I have them on my zx6r 2013 they work great, the only problem it doesn t fit perfectly, but that might be a problem with my fairings.

No, the tail parts on the 19+ bike are vastly different and will not accept this tail light. We designed a dedicated 2019 tail light that sets off the tail of that bike on the same or higher level . -BR

Can you use it just as a taillight with existing indicators? Like the look of it however integrated taillights are illegal in australia

Of course. You can connect the tail light plug and leave the signal plugs off in favor of keeping external signals. You can also use our Y-Splitters so that the tail light and external signals do the signaling. if I DONT install the relay, so the lights continue to flash fast, will that somehow damage my bikes electronics? I took mine in for first service, I got it home and I saw in the notes it says "turn signals flash too fast, needs load bearers" I like it flashing fast thats why I didnt put it in.

Not installing an LED Flasher Relay or resistors will not cause any damage to your bikes electronics.

The 650 has a vastly different taillight. The one in this video will not fit. We have not determined whether or not we will design a taillight for that bike.

The resistors come with tap connectors. You don't slice any wires with those. They puncture the wire insulation and make the connection. I always recommend our flasher relay over the use of resistors.

The taillight geometry will definitely fit. It is difficult to confirm for sure that all the plugs will be direct plug and play but I am 95% confident that they will.

kingbullykutta I did order this tail it was plug and play fits really I just took all the back fairing off my bike so things were easy to get to! I also by the tail tidy bracket and license plate light from tst. The only think with the licence plate light was I had to do some soldering. But tst have full video on that which explains every step

If the included resistors are installed there won't be a need for the relay. If you don't install the relay or resistors the flash rate is fast enough that the light sequence of some of the signal modes does not complete and makes the signal function look broken.

you can still use the running light and brake functions. Don't plug in the signal wires, use your external signals, and you will be set

Just installed tail light on my bike. Somewhat disappointed, the whole design and look is awesome but it has a lot of imperfections. The tail light doesn’t sit completely flush and you can also see silicone coming out from the lense where they resealed it. Cool design but poorly built.

Please email out Support Team photos of these issues and we can do our best to see what happened. This unit is built based off of OEM geometry so if it's not sitting flush, something is misaligned.
