Great video. I think I should change my air intake now! By the way, the big sensor on top of the air box is in fact your MAF sensor. If you had got rid of that your engine wouldn’t have run! I know because my local Alfa specialist recently changed mine. When I saw you refer to the little yellow sensor as the MAF sensor I thought “uh oh, this could go badly wrong!” Well done on getting it finished and the great results.

Really??? I did not know that. When I made the video I suspected that it was important and luckily I did not do anything stupid. Yes, it makes a big difference to change the air intake, I am still very pleased with the result. But I need the remapping now.

One major issue I am having on this car is that at cruising speed say 120kph in 5th gear, the revs are too high!!! With a sports exhaust its crazy loud!!!! I only wish the petrol 2.0 came with a 6 speed... Awesome video on the ram air. Difficult installation however, not sure I will try it. But yes, car feels its suffocating for air at high revs. Well done for attempting this job.

I completely agree on the 6th gear issue, the 2 litres could take a 6th gear. This morning my Alfa had about 3400 revs at 120 kph and maybe 2800 around 100 kph, how much does your Alfa rev?

It's the same revs. I feel 3,400 is just too high for a GT cruiser. Thank you for posting videos on this car, not many people out there who do what you do. Always happy to watch a GT video when you upload.

Hi I have the same car as yours, I wanted to change the air intake also, mainly for the intake noise. Did you have any idea if the new filter you installed could suck up water? Factory airboxes are so convoluted because they want to be sure water doesn't get into the engine. But now I think I might do it as well.

Hi. How did you connect the Ramair Flexi aluminium pipe to the existing wheel arch intake pipe? The aluminium Flexi pipe looks a lot wider than the intake pipe .

If I have remapped the GT? No, not yet and I don't have to do it for the Gp1, it is only a trottle respons device.

I bought it straight from the manufacture in UK, I have not seen if someone else sell them yet. But they had good price and the shipping was fast.
