My power wire (2015 MN) was in the same place but it was Red & Black. You can tap into the light wire in the lower dash panel just above the power socket/Cigarette lighter for illumination. It only works when you switch on the lights. There are a couple of good earth points, one is the fuse rack bolt on the left side of the fuse rack & there is another just below the right hand pillar & behind the kick pannel (it's the easiest- just a 10mil bolt.

Hey mate did you have a boost controller?
@connorchiarelli95416 жыл бұрын
hey mate, I fitted the same saas boost gauge today. It only is reading 5 psi at 2000rpm when sitting in the garage. would there be any difference if I was to actually drive the car? it just doesn’t seem right to me. the reason why i’m asking would the reading be different is because I can’t test drive the car at the moment as it’s in bits and I need to put half the car back together haha!

Is this a TD Triton? When getting boost gauge for a diesel does it have to be a certain one?
@4x4CampingandAdventures6 жыл бұрын
It is a turbo diesel mate you don't need anything specific just one with out a vacuum you just want a straight boost gauge.

Only thing is the elec tape round the heatshrink 😂 but everyone does things differently, you could’ve gone a bigger piece of shrink around all the connections you soldered up and covered for neatness

How come the boost needle appears really jumpy? Is it that bad in real life or does the video just make it look that way? Cheers
@4x4CampingandAdventures6 жыл бұрын
Might be the video mate it's normally pretty smooth but it does spoke to 25 then regulates to 18psi
@alc75056 жыл бұрын
4x4 Camping and Adventures have you got a big turbo?? 25psi seems incredibly high for standard turbo or is that norma on Tritons? Good video btw 👍
@4x4CampingandAdventures6 жыл бұрын
It's the normal on tritons to spike like that the wastegate brings it back to 18psi which is max psi from factory
