How to install a Water Tank valve (Rainwater harvesting) - Burton Builds

Don't make the mistake of forgetting to apply PTFE thread tape to each of the threaded fittings... if you apply threat tape, the fittings won't leak and will thread together smoothly and easily. If no thread tape is applied, the fitting joint may leak and the plastic tends to 'bite' together when tightening.
In this video we explore how to install a ball valve on a water tank. I removed the original 1" (25mm) ball valve in order to install a 1.5" (40mm) ball valve. The bigger valve (and piping) will allow water to transfer and balance between all tanks more quickly.
