omkar naik go onto the kali Linux 2019.4 release it says there that it is quite common but you can fix it with some cmds well it didn’t work for me but give it a go

is your phone in charge only mode or do you have a charge lead instead of a data lead, if not maybe see if putting the phone in debugging mode works

You need to set password manually. you can use this commands to set new password. In terminal. su root passwd enter new unix password and retype same password. Thats it. :)
