I told you a lot on this video. This was a video where I "explain" what you might need to do in order to install a ceiling fan in an area where you don't have an attic above. Yes all talk. Yes I thought as much as well. If I built a house I would still put a light fixture junction box right in the middle of the room (or somewhere close) for either a light fixture or if someone wanted to install a ceiling fan. Sometimes I've even seen them put a blank plate over the junction box & paint same color as the ceiling if it wasn't going to be used but at least it would be up there. I like ceiling fans in bedrooms only because in the summer if you want to turn off the AC for the night you can still get some relief by having a ceiling fan on while sleeping. I've even seen brand new homes with no junction box up there for either a light fixture or ceiling fan, if the room was set up for can light fixtures in other locations. It then makes it difficult for a home owner to just go down & get a ceiling fan to install. Yew very weird in deed. Thanks for stopping by...
