How To Install Addressable LED strip on the FPV Racing Drone | HGLRC 2812 driver LED W554B ARGB LED

This is a detailed step by step guide on how to install the HGLRC 2812 driver LED W554B ARGB LED on to the flight controller SpeedyBee F7 V2 so that we can target each LED individually and control its functions in the Firmware of the flight controller.
Simple operation: LED lighting modes can be changed with a button without the needs of configuration.

yes i guess as long as you have your led rated for 5v as each led must have 5 v gnd and control pin

Hi, I'm using the same LED controller board, but with a different brand of LEDs. The only way to program LEDs in BF is to connect the yellow signal wires directly to the FC. My question is do I still need the PWM cable if I'm running the signal cables directly to the FC? I'm assuming the only purpose of the PWM cable is to allow one to assign a switch to the TX, but I should be able to do that in BF (in the modes tab) without having to use the PWM pad, no?

No , only for the first board. Each board has the input and output pin for the signal connect them in series i.e. input of first board to the LED pin of the controller and output of first board to input of second board so on and so forth. The LED numbering will start from first LED of the first board. I hope this helps. Please stay tuned to my channel for my future videos

hey can i program different colors or different port of controller for example i connect 2 led strips in first port and then other 2 in 2nd port and they both show different colors of led? if possible please tell mw how or if not please tell me why

for led to be individually addressed they have to be connected in series and led count start from the end connected to signal port. if you connect two different port on the driver both the led strips will be connected in parallel than in series. so if signal is sent for led 1 it will get two leds first led of each strip. so both strips cannot be of different color.
