I mounted my supplemental battery as shown above and over road bumps it would rotate to the side on the slick curved surface of the bicycle frame. First I purchased a pack of large wire ties the same size as the 2 supplied with the battery, then I applied rubber with double sided adhesive at the 2 contact points, and strapped the mount back onto the bike frame. Obviously the rubber isn't enough to hold the mount and battery but works very well to prevent the battery from sliding to the side. Problem solved.

Update, after riding with the rubber under the mount the battery still slips to the side, I am out of ideas. It would have been so easy for the manufacturer to drill and tap holes the same as a bottle mount to accommodate screws in combination with the straps included to keep the battery secure and from slipping to the side. I am very angry with the poor engineering of this battery mount as designed. What were you people thinking? 🤷‍♂

That's a pretty Heath Robinson way of mounting the pack and it doesn't look very secure at all. Sorry ADO, you'll have to think of something better than that before I buy one.
