update I had to run the power wire from the battery not the cigarette lighter due to it not saving memory on aftermarket radio.

Mike Lang recently i had pure luck running constant power wire to my HU. I WANTED to avoid all the mess opening consoles so i decided to install the HU in the passenger side glove box. As u know it already has access to those fuses just centimeter above it. I learnt lessons from u not to give constant from cigarette lighter so instead i used the cigarette lighter fuse to just power on when i unlock or use the vehicle. The constant 12v i got from a neighboring fuse i don’t remember now but i can get it for u if you are interested.

Been watching yours and Antwan's video and about to install my aftermarket stereo but I'm having problems locating the speaker wires in the trunk!.. Everything else far as powering the radio and amp I believe I have under control but my problem is locating the speaker wires in trunk I don't even see them I thought they may have been running to the BmW radio amp but not sure because the wires aren't twisted and don't look like the wires I downloaded on Google which is the same diagram Antwan texted me..

Good video bro... im going to be getting this started today or tomorrow how much speaker wire did you order? I tapping into my ask unit and gonna hi-jack the speakers from there and i dont know if i wanna run them straight to the trunk or the double din🤔 but i wanna make sure i get enough wire for the whole job. And i also will be cutting my speakers from my L7 and running them to either the head unit or amp.Lmk bro

If my logic 7 is not working of course there will still be power to it tho..... can I tap in those speaker wires still and have those speakers run off the aftermarket amp..... and if so what channel amp would I need.... and when I hook it up to the aftermarket amp will I still get voice out those speakers or just base

Mike Lang ..... the rest the speakers are wired into the amp and have to be cut into as well? And with the aftermarket do you just turn down the volume from the ask and just turn the volume on from the aftermarket

@@glennjones5596 you take the feed from the car. All your door speaker wires and run them to and amp or straight to your radio.your trying to avoid the bmw amplifier and ask unit which is the cause of you door speakers not working.

@@glennjones5596 I cut only the speaker wires from the harness. Tied new wires into them then ran them to my amplifier. You can run it straight to your radio if you want
