A couple more questions I'm trying to find though are with my LOC, I want to connect it to my stereo wires. Do I just cut all the required wires behind the stereo and connect them with the LOC wires? And with speaker wires, Do I just bring them to each front/rear speakers, cut and connect? My setup is coming in a week, so I was just trying to prepare beforehand. Thanks for any input!
@JesseRizo6 жыл бұрын
The loc just has to be connected to just rear speakers or just front speakers I connected mine to the rear speakers just because it was easier and I just connected the speaker wire directly to the speaker and the loc speaker wire straight to the speaker in the video I walk threw that process to hope that helps
@strengthbro06 жыл бұрын
I have a 4 channel amplifier and I want to power my front/rear speakers with it. To my understanding, the speaker wires run around the car to the stock stereo. If I connect the LOC to the front/rear speakers there, do I just attach the RCA cables to the LOC, attach the RCA to my 4 channel amplifier, and it should power the front/rear speakers? This confuses me because I don't understand the point of having 4 channels if I'm just going to use the RCA cables to power my speakers
@KeyserReveal6 жыл бұрын
Very detailed installation instructions bro. Would you recommend installing a separate amp for your highs?
@JesseRizo6 жыл бұрын
I would definitely recommended a separate amp only if you have upgraded your speakers if you did not then there’s no need for it you’ll just end up blowing your stick speakers but if you do upgrade your speakers (highs) and get a second amp getting the distribution block is highly recommended as well I talked about on this video,thanks for watching bro :)!!!!

For the part with the remote wire I believe you could have avoided removing the radio by putting a "add a fuse" to a fuse in the fuse box that only turns on with the car, I know this may cause a popping sound from the subwoofer depending on the amp type.

Does it matter which wire you use from the rear speakers for the converter ?
@user-cj6gb9jo7w4 жыл бұрын
About the high level converter connection im abit confuse, it looks like u taps the converter wire that stick out to stock deck speakers wire into T joint wiring style is it? Because i thought that the converter 4 wires that stick out suppose to tap to stock speaker wire, its like to convert it to be rca and connect to amp. And then get new wire and connect from amp and straight to rear deck speaker. Correct me if im wrong.

If you ever need to remove the sub box for any reason, you will have to unhook everything from the amp. That's why most installers don't hook the amp to the sub box. But it looks nice.
@andrewciallella77035 жыл бұрын
Why did you tap into the stock radio wiring harness for the remote turn on wire? In my opinion, it seems like a lot of extra work, considering you can buy a fuse tap and simply tap into the accessory fuse located under the driver-side foot well. Both are effective, but I am just presenting another method/execution.

There is 1 little thing I hated about this good video. It was, you cut the factory wire to tap your remote and rca speaker out. For the remote wire, you could have d-pinned it and tapped into that wire that way and put the pin back. Or could have just stuck the wire in the back of the connector and tapped it so well that it wont come loose and the factoey wire would still be intact. Good job though on the video. Also want to mention if your Honda does not have a factory subwoofer, Honda's hves an ANC (active noise cancelling) Unit you woud need to disconnect cause that unit sends a noise to the inside speskers to try and cancel out road noise.

Thanks for the video. It was very explained and detailed. Keep it up! I have a Honda civic 2014 ex with push start button. I followed all instructions, I bought even the same materials. This is the problems that I found: Everything was fine until I tried to turn off the car. I got stuck in accessory mode. I won’t be able to turn off the vehicle. Every time I need to unplug the negative terminal of the battery to turn off the car. I thought I blew off some fuse or relay, so I checked up every single fuse with a multimeter without finding the problem. Everything was good. So after searching online I replace the key fob battery thinking that was the issue. So I tried to remove just the fuse from the amp and everything was good, The car turned off. I reconnect the fuse from the amp and the I comeback the same problem. I disconnected the remote cable from the amp and car turned off. So I’m thinking that the connection from the remote to the radio is doing something wrong. Do you suggest to do something about it ? Or anyone could ? I appreciate your help in advance.
