How to Install an Innofader PNP Crossfader in a Vestax PMC-07 Pro ISP Mixer (includes Gray Wire Mod)

An installation and skratch diagnostic of an Innofader pnp into a Vestax PMC-07 Pro mixer that also includes a brief diagnostic of the fader's curve adjustments and a mod for people who experience some some audio bleeding noise. This is a really cool fader thats easy to install.

For anyone saying you should have switched the mixer off while installing, how are you supposed to calibrate the Innofader if you can't hear anything??

not sure if they are compatable...most vestax faders in my experience are interchangeable with others...yet ive only dealt with 05pros, 06 mixtik pro and my 07pro isp....all the faders in those can be switched...so i'm sure an 08 pro may work too...

hi with the internal curve control, can you still use the curve controls onboard the vestax or have they become redundant?

yeah you can change the curve with the mixers own curve control as well as use the innofader's own internal settings

Thanks for showing this. Why did you replace it with the mixer power on? I read that if the metal touches metal you can fry it.

sup man heres a google of it...my cord actually broke inside of my mixer so I have to get a new one...a universal adapter might be ur best bet...havent seen the exact one cord when I do a google search

Yo man, ive got the 06 Pro A, battlemixer, just installed and there is a little static and popping when you cut, did you notice anything similar

you can change the curve adjustment setting on the fader to possibly mute that sound thats coming thru...it may mean you have yours on too sharp of a setting...
