This is innovation. Definitely the way to go when I install an irrigation system, soon, hopefully. Two questions. Does this sprinklers eliminate the need to head to head coverage? Can they be installed above ground until one is ready to lay down pipe. It's important to lay down pipe at the right time in the right place. DO NOT LAY DOWN PIPE INDISCRIMINATELY.

Think you need to start with measuring psi or gallons per minute output; residential water diameter can vary a lot But planning where you put everything is the fun part If you dig below 4 feet then it’s under the frost line but shallow systems like this need to be blown out often to prevent freezing Many people need to get advisor to figure out the math on how water behaves when being split in zones; you can easily run into where the run for pipes can be too long and it would either need a pump or you split the zone up way too much and just need to make more zones

For back-flow prevention, just install a PVC check valve in the main line after the time controller. That guarantees flow in one direction.
