update the SELinux boolean values for FTP service as shown below. setsebool -P ftp_home_dir on confirm with the user and password creation useradd passwd And also check the firewall status once it is in active state or inactive state check the ftp configuration file which you have followed the configuration changes as show in the tutorial.
