When I do yum localinstall .... I get Error: Problem: conflicting requests - nothing provides oracle-database-preinstall-21c needed by oracle-database-xe-21c-1.0-1.x86_64 (try to add '--skip-broken' to skip uninstallable packages) Can you help resolve this error: I tried all the --skip-broken installation etc. but getting same error.

To resolve this error, you will need to install the oracle-database-preinstall-21c package first. You can try using the yum install command to install the package, like this: yum install oracle-database-preinstall-21c

Once the oracle-database-preinstall-21c package has been installed, you should be able to install the oracle-database-xe-21c-1.0-1.x86_64 package without any issues.

Different software requirements: Depending on your system's purpose and configuration, it may not require a database pre-installed. For example, if you're using your system primarily for personal use, you may not need a database pre-installed as you may not be running any software that requires it.
