For window 10: when searching for env use the system variables option not the one for account. System Properties window opens click on Environment Variables button at the bottom then then Environment Variables window opens but now you can Edit the System variables. Select path click edit, click New button, then Browse button and select the path C:\src\flutter\flutter\bin. Click OK,OK,OK till all windows are closed and test in command prompt or power shell. Hope it helps.

If you run the flutter doctor command, having installed Android Studio and you get the error: "[!] Android Studio (not installed)", or if you installed Android Studio using default settings, you can use this command to fix it (on windows): flutter config --android-studio-dir="C:\Program Files\Android\Android Studio" subsequently, if you get the "Flutter plugin not installed error after running flutter doctor, do: flutter upgrade

Try to copy the address from (Path) and delete (path). then make another one, name it (path) again and paste the address again in it. i have tried it and it works!

If anyone is still having problem.. make a new path.. and make sure there is no same name's folder inside of another folder with the same name. It didn't work for me coz I had this as the path... ...\....\.....\flutter\flutter\bin This wasn't working so I copied the files and folders of inside sub folder of flutter and brought it outside to the main outside folder "Flutter" and then it worked with the path: ....\....\....flutter\bin. Hope this helps someone now or in the future.

I’ve encountered problem after problem here five days and four times deleting everything and redownloading and its still not working ready to delete it all permanently. Absolute joke this. They want people to get into tech, but make the process of it that problematic it puts us off. And on top of that flutter doesn’t even have any kind of customer service and i joined reddit just to try and get help and still not further forward. Cant even speak with anyone for help with android studio either tech companies with no tech support laughable.

Sorry could work for you, I had a lot of issues one of them was Could not find a file named “pubspec.yaml” in "folder". Keep in mind that developing is a lot of self-learning and looking everywhere to find answers, don't expect customer service to grab you by the hand and explain to you what to do since many problems can be very specific. Good that you went to Reddit to look for answers, try more places. Don't give up and good luck!

@@b11spirit yeah thanks i gave up and found it there was an issue as i was running windows 7. Decided to upgrade to mac and just going to use xcode. Yeah there was a few helpful people on reddit. Ive also joined github and a discord group. Yeah I’m not giving up will keep trying. Thank you for the help. I hope you got your issue fixed too?
