I managed to install arch linux with Gnome it's very smooth and nice but honestly there are still some problems and it's not that stabble. I installed it on my new gaming laptop but vs code bugs youtube freezes and slows down it's a bit annoying when you just want to get work done. Maybe in sometime it will become more stable for people to use it. Nvm was able to fix the problems staying with arch XD

Thats not true. You need to be cautious and need to use pre mounted disk configuration. Again for beginners it may confuse them.

hi, i'm having a bit of an issue, when i follow your instructions to install from an external media (i'm using a USB) to a formatted drive, it installs the OS but the EFI bootloader does not recognize it as a bootable disk, it seems to be an issue with GRUB somehow. yes, you can, and for login screen (in kde plasma its sddm) you can go into settings > appearance (or something like that, i dont know because i use xfce) > login screen (you will be able to install login screen themes here)

First off you can customise SDDM (Login Manger) inside KDE Plasma Appearance settings. Secondly, DON'T INSTALL MULTIPLE DESKTOP ENVIRONMENTS. CHOOSE ONLY ONE.

Yes, you can. This video shows dual booting windows 11 with Arch Linux installed on a separate. If you have spare empty drive on your computer. You can install Arch into it.

Logout of your computer. From the Lock Screen, click on the username. Then from the bottom right click on settings gear icon and choose X11. Then enter password and login. It should fix that issue.

It is possible but I dont recommend dual booting this way. Manual method is the best to do. Also If your system is having a spare drive without windows then you can use this video to install arch.

Enter the username and password and login. If you are using SDDM as display manager. Then try executing these commands: *sudo systemctl enable sddm* *sudo systemctl start sddm*

You mean the windows entry in the grub menu ? If so follow this: boot into arch. Then open a terminal, and edit the grub configuration file. Increase the GRUB_timeout limit by 30 seconds, go to the bottom of the file, and uncomment this GRUB_DISABLE_OS_PROBER. Now save the changes with ctrl + o and exit with ctrl + x. Then install os-prober (sudo pacman -S os-prober). Update the grub configuration with this command. *sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg* Restart your computer and you will see Arch Linux and Windows boot entries in the grub menu.

The max brigtness is really low and the brightness slider is inverted i.e when the slider is in the minimum the maximum brightness is shown and when slider is in maximum the brightness will be really low.
