How to install bipod on Remington 700

I had no idea that you could mount it to the eyelet. I'm glad I found this video, you just saved me physically altering my stock (which I did NOT want to do). I just ordered two of these bipods, one for my 30-06 and my 243 Win. Awesome.

Thanks for this! I have exactly the same rig. I took the bipod off a year ago and just used your video to remount it. Now, as it did originally it has a lot of play (wobble) in the base of the bipod. Any tips on reducing that?

It is a sling mount. Just the eyelet for the sling. You can buy picatinny adapters that have the eyelet on them, that’s what I do for my AR

There is a sling attachment on the bottom of the bipod. So you will attach the bipod to the stock then attach the sling to the bipod. It has an eyelet just like the normal sling attachment. Thanks for watching!
