Great content! Good point on lining up rear wheel, however, you skipped chain tension! I usually pull on the wheel to get chain to desired tightness, then torque chain side, then align wheel with brakes/frame, and finally torque the other (non-drive) side. Good to know I don't need these washers anymore though... lol Stay FIT!

The slotted washer is to keep the bike wheel from falling off if the nuts become loose, I'm not an expert but it would be a good idea to leave them on because you would rather be safe than sorry 🥴.

Can I get the name of the tools used to put the pegs on? I have a GT Pro BMX Bike and want to add my pegs on it. Can somebody let me know how much space the pegs take up on your axle? Since they act as a washer how thick would that washer be, for example, are they around 6mm, 10mm, etc. My axle is on the shorter side so I need to get an estimate of where my bolt would be sitting with pegs.

Thats for like your front axle if its smaller. You put it in the peg and it helps it fit on the axle better.

hasnaat ali all you need to do is buy pegs (i suggest metal) and as long as they aren’t a low quality brand they will come with a little metal adapter

Pegs aren't fitting with my Fat fork tube. pushes out a bit and other side ends up dropping. Then i am out of alignment. Noty sure if i should sand down peg or fork tube.

The pegs act as the washer. If you are installing a peg, you do not need to use the washer.
