Thanks, that was just the video I have been looking for, firstly as soon as I saw the blue skids I knew you had a Seatrail product and I knew the problem you were going to fix. I have the same problem with my boat when retrieving, I have an aluminium Savage and the keel wants to track between the roller and the Galv bracket, once it get to that position I have a hell of a job to get the boat back into the water and start again, subsequently I no longer am able to drive the boat on, I have a few deep gouges on the underside of the boat caused by this happening, the blue guides are what I have been thinking about getting, not knowing where to get them from, your review was very helpful, hopefully it will save me a few mistakes along the way. BTW has this solved all your launching/retrieving problems.

Yes it was a good solution. What is really interesting is that this set up works best when the trailer isn't fully submerged which is great for avoiding wash onto my electrics ! So what I do now is put the traler half in, then winch the boat on. If I need to I just then revers the trailer a wee bit more to reduce the boat weight for the last few winds

Thankyou for the review and video. I have now ordered some new SC rollers for my Telwater trailer (it has the SC bars already built on.

Makes big difference especially on ramps with a shallow angle

Hi. Have a Telwater trailer as well. Can you show your setup?

Interesting video. I have had trouble with a Telwater trailer - the Stacer goes between the skids and the centre roller getting stuck and leading to boatramp nightmares. Did you consider the spring loaded Ark Ezi guides? I think your setup maybe better. How has this setup worked on the ramp and can you drive on? Thank you for a detailed video and considered engineering advice.

Hi Mate, yes I did look at the Ark Ezi guides. There are some challenges with them more related to boat type and boat weight. I reckon they are better suited to larger heavier boats. Watch out for my next video and I will film the retrieval. I pull my boat in by hand to start with, and then when it has centered, I attach the winch. The ramp I use is prone to winds blowing sideways which was a real issue on the trailer with a single roller (before I attached the self centering guide). You could drive on, but I won't because my boat is fibreglass and prone to impact damage. A tinny would be no problem.
