Thank you for this information. I found my grandmother's machine that had been sitting for quite some time. I took the liberty of cleaning and lubing it, but had no idea how some of it went back together. Maybe next time, I will take pictures before I disassemble. You saved me countless hours of head scratching. I cannot thank you enough.

Thank a million! I was just able to replace the bobbin winder rubber ring on my (new/old) Rocketeer. I appreciate your taking the time to make this video.

I can't thank you enough for this video. I have a Singer Slantomatic 500a and the bobbin winder quit on me. It was the rubber ring, of course, which had turned grey, brittle, and was shredded. I was able to recognize and order the ring, then clean things up, replace it, and figure out the spring (soooooo many thanks) and it just filled a bobbin for me and automatically stopped when the bobbin was full. I'm thrilled.

In your other video with the "Very rare Singer Sewing Motor" do you happen to know what year they are from or any other info on them? I came across one but can't seem to find much info on it. Thanks

all i can figure it is the motors were originally made by Hamilton Beach. They dated from around 1915-17 till maybe 1920-22 when the 99 was released with a motor.
