Am I right in thinking to remove the throttle body it’s just a case of removing the boost pipes to get to the throttle body from underneath?

I've installed these and the gains are real. At least for my setup. Don't know about the rest of you guys. I do want to ask about a code I got for the TAC being stuck open. It's been a week since the install. I reset my ecu and cleared it with the tuner and so far everything is fine. Just wondering if you have any ideas on that happening. Maybe I should check all my connections again?

Neat to see experience install these. Can these Throttle Spacers also fit a 2018 Fiesta SE or SL model? The Intake throat past the Throttle body uses a dowel pin and index notch for alignment of the Throttle Body onto the intake manifold, does the Boomba have such a notch?

+jamesyak52 If you are only installing the throttle body spacer there is no reason to take off the intake manifold. It can be done from underneath.

@@Ssdggfd I only have the TB spacer for water meth injection haha. It felt like it did help with the charge temps and it feels a little more responsive. Throatier intake noise too

My intake mani looks like it's easier to install than what this video shows. It's not like you have to pull the intake mani completely off either, just pull it back

You've already got GOBS of air wanting to enter the engine once the valves open from the turbo on an ST, I'm not believing these make that much of a performance difference, considering the work to install them.

+BoombaRacingInc Not trying to be difficult, I've bought products from you and they've all been good, but the increases in dyno results in the link are so small that they could have been the result of a competent tune, and quoting results of cars that already have other mods and aftermarket tunes? Really? I've been working with super-naturally-aspirated engines for 20+ years, and above atmospheric, "flow" or "plenum" mods have never made much of a real-world difference, IME.

Mealyman 94 dyno test we ran is with the exact same day, on the exact same car, with the exact same tune, with the same driver, and tank of gas. We literally pulled the car onto the dyno, did our baseline pulls, installed the spacers, and did our resulting pulls. No trickery here.
