How to install cabin air filter in Toyota Camry 2014-2017

I feel so excited!!! I'm a female never ever did act kind of mechanical anything ever, repair, replacement never did anything ever..however after this video i just changed my cabin air filter and I feel so proud of myself!!! To me, air flow and arrow refers to the direction of the air flow, if air flow is coming from bottom as you say, why is the arrow pointing down ?

Air flow arrow should point up. Air comes from bottom to top. The arrow is air flow direction not where the air comes from. Correct me if I'm wrong.

You are definitely wrong. Where did you get that idea? When your filter gets dirty the dirt will be on the top side. Doesn't that tell you the air is entering the topside of the filter? THE OEM filter simply has an arrow that points "UP" but up is not airflow.

No the dirt collects on the top of the filter and clean air exits the bottom thus airflow is downward. The original filter just has an arrow that points up but that is not the direction of airflow.

He has it right, that is why the top of the air filter is dirty. The arrows should be down for the direction of the air flow through the carbon. If you still are confused you can watch a video from Toyota they actually show he is correct.
