Will these handlebars work with bar end mirrors? Are the ends of the bars threaded?

They are not threaded; virtually all aftermarket handlebars will be hollow. This can work with our Bar End mirror adapters which easily installs onto the ends of these bars, allowing usage of bar end mirrors.

The video shows an install on a '24 Speed Twin, but your website says the linked product won't fit on a '24 Speed Twin. Does the website need updating? Would that kit fit on my '22 Speed Twin?

After speaking to support on the phone (Hi Julie!) it turns out that the risers that BC currently offers are too low and cause the cafe bars to contact the tank. BC anticipates delivery of those risers before the end of the year and will then publish the proper Speed Twin cafe kit on their website when available. I don't know what parts he uses in the video that contradict this, but those of us with Speed Twins will have to wait a while longer before the advertised product is actually available. This comment is for other viewers seeking the same information; it's too bad I have to do BC's job for them.

Hi, what length is the handlebar you installed in the video? I've a street twin 2016 but with my handlebar command boxes hit the tank...so I need to change it....any suggestions?
@britishcustomsАй бұрын
it's about a 27" on overall width (virtual). We've seen this happen quite often where the grip/control portion of the bars hit the tank. We've used our risers and spacers to get proper clearance.

I was under the impression from your other videos that handlebar swaps on euro5 models required a whole bunch of work replacing brake lines and whatnot, but this install was a breeze. Has something changed? I have a '23 Speed Twin 900 I've been wanting your tracker bars for, but have held off due to the complexity.
@britishcustoms2 ай бұрын
Unfortunately wider bars like the Tracker or Retro handlebars requires a whole new brake cable and that's where it gets complicated. The stock brake line going from the master doesn't split anywhere; it goes all the way to the ABS unit, in front the swingarm requiring you to remove the swingarm if doing any modifications. No other ways around this but our ABS brakeline has a split which prevents you from removing the swingarm every time.

@@britishcustomsahh I see, so it's just these cafe bars then that don't require a new cable?
@britishcustoms2 ай бұрын
That is correct! We'll be working on a few more other fitments but it has been quite the process figuring it out
