What's the deal with the foam pads? Can't figure out the proper orientation for the bottom one. Any clue?

The CF Fenders look amazing man. And thanks for showing us how to get the last bottom bolt out for the fenders. I had no idea how to get it out and there really wasnt any other video online at the time, so i resorted to man handling the crap out of the fender and lower rocker panel lol. As for that plastic trim piece you didnt put back in, you CAN put it back in, just pre install it to the new fender w/ the plastic clips in place, then put the bottom bolt in for the new fender, then just connect the bolt w the plastic piece and connect the plastic clips, then go on your way to do the rest of the bolts. If you do it this way, its 100x easier. If you dont connect the plastic trim piece, the fender will have noticeably large gap between the door and the fender. This is because those plastic clips bring the fender and door closer, so without that plastic trim piece you relieve the tension and it creates that gap

No problem sir, and thank you. The rocker panel wasn’t too much of a pain. I just created enough spaced needed to do the job. As for the plastic trim piece, mannn I have had these fenders on since last October and I promise you I have not notice a gap in that area. Not enough to bother me. 😂 my main concern was making sure the door and fender did not touch when the door was being opened. You got me curious though. I gotta check it out one day.

@@crimsonkamuriYea honestly dont even worry about it, the fender is made of CF so it cant rust. The main purpose of the plastic trim is to protect from salt and water so the fender dont rust inside out. I notice a gap on mine compared to before/after pics, and honestly it was such a pain in the @$$ to take the fender off and reinstall that stupid plastic trim. I only recommend you revisit it if you take off the fender for some other reason later down the road. Also your headlights seem totally custom built, were they from Braggin Lightz/Next Level Neo?

@@descendinggod9740nope neither my friend, the owner of @disrupt_gfx (on instagram) he does custom lighting. The man is reasonable for all my RGB on my car currently. It’s rare for him to do headlights though. He mainly does all the smaller items (front/rear badge, mirrors, fogs, rear reflector light. And much more I’ll be posting some videos on his stuff eventually

How much weight is saved by swapping the OEM's out for the CF units or are these more of a show piece?

I do not know the exact weight difference but with all 3 major body parts hood trunk and fenders. i would guess about 25 lbs maximum
