How to install cooling fans on RV refrigerator

I put an aluminum piece across top to keep fans from moving to much and a piece of light plywood in between the fans to keep air flow from down below instead of between fans.

did you use a double connector for the wires in the back of the fridge? how did you fit them all on one plug?

The residential refrigerator in my 2017 Thor Quantum has power, but the freezer and the fridge don’t get cold. Help with suggestions other than taking it to the dealership or burning it to the ground.

I'm sorry but I don't have any experience with that. Do you hear the compressor kick on? Maybe low on Freon?

I installed mine when it was 100 degrees ambient and higher than that in the upper fridge compartment. Neither thermostat would engage. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Thanks for this informative video. I had already purchased a fan to install on our RV refrigerator. Can anyone help me find a link to a in-line thermostat similar to the one in the kit, that has a preset temperature to kick the fan on or off? Thanks.

Do you have two fans back there already? I have a Jayco Eagle 2018, bought it new. I found two fans installed back there.

No there were no fans previously there that is why i installed them. If you bought your rig used maybe someone already had them installed.

@@DJsWorkshop Bought it brand new. Got it from Jayco 4 months later. A 2018 Eagle Travel Trailer.

@@loujohnson6143 its possible that they maybhe installing them on the newer models. Or maybe it was an option someone added. Either way it definatly helps keep the temps down.
