Latest update removed skin support it seems. Looks like IP/Brand protection in affect.

Well i hope they implement a option where you get themes from the games you own. But only time will tell at the end of the day if thats something they will do or not

2023? This video is practically the same uploaded a year ago, you just updated the date to 2023, actually the video is old and this guide for skin no longer works with the latest Steam updates, the skins are broken.

"Times 86" I have never heard someone say that before. Neat. For the record, "x" is a variable - so it's pronounced as the letter x. It's a legacy denominator for 32 bit systems back when they were called 286, 386, 486, etc. 586's were called Pentium by Intel, and unique naming schemes have followed ever since. (Though all modern PC systems are still x86 based, as opposed to newer archetectures like ARM) All of these older CPU architectures were 32 bit, and Windows itself was only 32bit. Basically, the x86 folder is for programs that are both 32 bit and 64 bit compatible, while the regular program files folder is for 64bit only applications. If 128 bit processors ever become the industry norm, you'll probably see Windows create three program files folders. Program FIles x86, Program Files 64, and Program Files (or something like that).

depend which font you picked in the metro customiser. If you left it at default then you dont need to install a font.

Make sure the 'og-steam' skin is a regular folder and not a zip folder (compressed). If it is a zip folder, you can right click and choose Extract.

hi, I've been using metro skin for steam for a lot of time now but now since january or february 2022 (i don't remember) steam disabled the skin by itself, I tried reinstalling it, deleting the metro folder and redownloading it but still nothing, I tried other skins like ones from the steam customizer website and they work but not metro, I really liked that skin and I want it back :( can you help?
