How to install Distant Horizons for FORGE (Minecraft 1.20.1)

This is really useful. You saved me from wasting my week. Thank you. I've seen so many popular KZbinrs excited to try DH recently, but until now I've never seen anyone explain exactly how to apply it correctly. In particular, forge seems to have even more lack of information.

Yes forge doesn't have any popularity but i got more fps and it just felt little smoother using forge and dh

So I’ve downloaded all mods from your desc, I removed all my mods out besides the mods in your desc and optifine, I tried running it on 47.3.5 instead of the one on your video 47.3.1. I have shaders installed, I’ve alotted 14gb of ram out of 32 gigs that I have, but it keeps crashing

I tried it with 2 different shaders, and with no shaders. But it doesn't work for some reason. I decreased the CPU load but still, the LoDs don't load, but it still decreases my fps by a lot. Render Distance 5 Chunks Simulation Distance 5 Chunks LoD rendering 32 chunks It basicly does nothing but still decreases my fps from 100 to 7

@@Mostgibberish neoforge if you have a bunch of forge mods will throw incompatibility errors in curseforge but they all still work, aside from the physics mod. Distant horizons 100% works with shaders on neoforge. I think what got most people confused is on the Distant Horizons shader compatibility information site it says (Neo)forge which makes people think it’ll work with regular forge as well.
