How wide should a door jamb be after rendering “ finished “ ?

@@back_yard_ideas3258 for 32 door u can dress it 35 ½ inches for 36 door its 39 ½ the half inches is for clearance for the door to fit inside the jamb

i never installed a door or door jam before and probably never will but i prefer door and door jam installed at the same time. you don't know if the door jam is good until you go to hang the door.

Always leave 3/8 space between door jam for installing the door 🚪

I think them blue screws are short, and don't use a wall bit to bore the board,

They hold just fine and the best thing abut them they can easily be replaced and i dont really see the difference using a different bit for the board that's just double work but you have a point
