@@johngray2526 That's what I did on my 05 Malibu works great. I also used a line output converter so I could use the RCA cable hookup. I found power for the converter on the cigarette lighter fuse in the back.

@@johngray2526 Yes. You should use rear wires. You can either tap straight into the rear wires with the plug that comes with it. Or get a line converter to tap into the wires then use RCAs to the sub.

No u cannot connected to any fuse. Depending on ur car u should look on the manual and check which fuse is the one for the cig lighter or to a USB charger fuse or even to the stereo fuse
