It would be worthwhile to make a video of gable/rake trim installed at a high->low pitch transition because that's a tricky spot.

Oggy, You're absolutely correct and we appreciate the feedback. That one is on our list, but it's a long list before we get to it. Stay tuned as one of these days we will get it filmed and uploaded on the channel.

Was there a reason in doing the end before the ridge? It seems like it's backwards, thanks.

Great videography and instruction. Maybe skip the annoying music next time, feels like a commercial... :)

My barn has this detail and it's leaking at 30 years. Not bad but now I have to caulk this seam again and it will never seal like it did when the metal was new. A better approach I've found is a mechanical approach without caulking and trough fastening. Fold the panel over the rake using a T drip for the cleat similar to this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hKeWnZiorbx_fpo

Robert, I appreciate the comment. The video that you have shown will work great for a standing seam panel. This video is intended to cover the installation of an exposed fastener panel. Different installation procedures.

Metal Roofing Learning Channel it’s a universal installation process just like your box rake. Both can be done on either panel type. See: facebook.com/111943363675240/photos/a.118534396349470/118531953016381/?type=3
