Just did this for my friend on his brand new Redmi 9A. Everything went well until I tried opening the Google Play Store. It was stuck on 'Checking info'. Just had to clear the cache though under App info and then it all worked. Thanks for the video.

It is 2 different things Xiaomi has the google certificate but huawei do not have it...it makes using google impossible

if you get google play services can't downgrade apps the just go to browesr and download google play services apk then go back to insataller and you will notice it has moved on to the next bit if you get stuck again look what you are stuck on and just download that from the browser

Huawei and xiaomi start to sell some models for Chinese mainland market with Google services frameworks deactivated, so unable to install Google apps by users themselves . models like honor 10 lite (荣耀10青春版）from Huawei and redmi Note7 Pro from xiaomi are in this case. must check before buying now .

Bro, You don't need to hard reset your phone. Just go to manage apps , then uninstall existing app in which you are suffering that problem, cause you also face another problem on next step. After uninstalling that app, continue the process. Thanks me later!!

Very clear video. I enjoyed it. I bought my Redmi k30 5G when it first came out in Beijing. I am just now trying to set it up (in Canada). It already has Google Play on it.
