I couldn't get Maven working. I was getting the following error: mvn -v (or even mvn) I get: C:\Program Files\apache-maven-3.8.1>mvn -v Error: -classpath requires class path specification I looked everywhere and couldn't find a resolution for this problem. It turned out I had done something very basic incorrectly: I had downloaded apache-maven-3.8.1-src.zip (Source zip archive) when I SHOULD HAVE downloaded apache-maven-3.8.1-bin.zip (Binary zip archive). Following this video I realized my error and corrected it. Thank you so much!!! (I added in the detail above in case anyone else has the same problem)
