How to install Jeep Wrangler TJ new taillight

Installing new smoked taillights on a 1998 Jeep Wrangler
In this video we have a Jeep Wrangler TJ edition that needed to be updated with something new. We installed these LED taillights to make it look a lot better, now this Jeep Wrangler TJ has brighter lights that anyone can see at night.

You’re welcome and thank you for watching the video. If the fast blinking worries you then you can slow it down to normal speed by swapping out the taillight relay fuse, any auto repair store can direct you to the correct one.

Could be the wire not connecting properly or you may just have a defective taillight. You may wanna do test by swapping the lights over to dig deeper into your issue.

Question? My passanger side has metal about an inch behind the screw holes. Did this jeep not have that? How did you fit your hand up there with this?

I pretty much got close as possible with my finger’s which allowed me to align the screws and twist them on slowly. I do recall that metal bracket behind it, you have the option to remove the wheel well cover for an easier access. The rear wheel would have to be removed for that step but it’s possible to not remove the wheel if a lift is installed.

I did everything you said but now my running lights don't work any suggestions

You’ll need to check the ground connection, confirm that the electrical wire is wrapped around the screw.

The video was sped up during the demonstration but I assume that they’re designed to flash faster than the normal speed.

You’re welcome, the turn signal is still normal once it was installed. The video clip was in high speed which made everything appear in a faster motion.

@@jakestine6386 do you have the white wire properly connected with one of the screw heads? It seems that the power isn’t going through bc of a bad connection.

@@luisvega868 it seems that the setting is actually set to a fast blinker, I’m not sure why but if you contact the manufacturer they can better assist you and I.
