I started to watch the video, and then tried another route because I thought virtual env was optional. I'm on a Mac and I couldn't get jupyter notebook to run at all, even though it was on my path, and I had all the correct python3 and pip installations. The steps in this video work!

hello! I've been trying to install Jupiter on my new MacBook Air m3 using your guide but I get this error: ERROR: Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement jupiter (from versions: none) ERROR: No matching distribution found for jupiter What does it mean and how can I possibly solve it? thanks in advance.

Try to check version on new terminal window and when you start jupyter you get a link, try copying that link and pasting it in the url bar of Google Chrome or Microsoft edge

Thanks for the tutorial. Everything installed perfectly. Just a quick question, how to open Jupyter notebook the next time after closing everything. Do I need to activate the venv every time following bin/activate command? I tried doing that but it didn't work. Even writing Jupyter notebook directly in the terminal doesn't works. Please suggest how to re-open it. Thanks

First you go inside the folder ,activate the virtual environment, and then type jupyter lab to open the lab directly.

You need to go to the terminal again, go inside the folder in which your notebook are and write the command Jupyter notebook and hit enter. Jupyter notebook will thus open and you can choose to open whichever notebook you like.

ok sir i figured it out, that's because when i renamed my notebook, i deleted the file type .ipynb as well. That's why i have problem restarting it.@@joeystechpluscode
