Something they forgot is once you have downloaded all your mods, make sure to put them in the correct load order so they can actually work! Good luck if you enjoy lots of mods :D

@@kasaijin9934 Same place where you activate your mods (See: 1:48), if you click on a mod you use the blue arrows on the right to move them up and down. The lower the mod is the higher the priority. Unfortunately it is fully manual, there is no LOOT like order mechanism like Skyrim here, sorry.

@KamiEssential No lower in the load order. Just like skyrim, the lower the mod is, the higher its priority as it is loaded last. There are videos that explain this in detail

I’m usually not a fan of mods and prefer playing vanilla. However, I’m roughly 400 hours in my play through and want some mods for my next play through. I’ve done mods on some mmos but never through steam so this is great and informative.

The Beak Things for Steam is fitting. Mods will catch up to you in Kenshi, likely out of curiosity or filling gaps like the Ration Pack cooking. Only when you mod yourself then you just might be able to outrun the Beak Things. They are one of the fastest NPCs in the game wilderness, and they are carnivorous predators. Build a base in Gut if you like them as both pets and fighting targets.

Bethesda and other companies put mod support on their games, but they barely acknowledge the feature's existence, as if they were ashamed of it, something they put there begrudgingly. It is awesome to see Kenshi embracing it.
