How to Install Lower Vented Fairings on Harley Touring

When I purchased my lowers wasn’t sure if I was going to like them. I definitely enjoy them and I don’t have speakers I use them as storage. I know what you mean about finding that sweet spot , there’s nothing better.

What’s with all the overspray on the insides by the foot controls? Does it come off easily?

It does come off, there’s a few cleaners I use if this does happen. But a lot of the time it all about elbow grease and patience lol

Love your videos ❤❤❤ I have a question I got the Advanblack Lowers with vents that I always have open when going long distance however since I installed them I feel my bike Runs hotter than before without them is that safe for the engine ? I mean I love the looks of it thanks

The bike might run a little hotter, especially long distances. It not bad for the bike, just bad for your legs lol. That’s why a lot of people will install and aftermarket cooler fan. Hope this helps, and thank you for the support

Every video I've seen so far shows the installation of the right side but not the left. Nobody shows the left side because the shifter might come in contact with the fairing vent like in my case.

Next time I do a set of these, I install the left. I never have issues with the shifter

@RAIDERWORLD thanks to one of your other videos I figured out my issue. I have the heel and toe shifter on my FGS and the toe needed to be adjusted to clear the vent. I assumed because the foot brake can't really be adjusted that the foot shifter couldn't be either and I was wrong. Thanks for sharing as much info as you do,
