This is what I don't get ...people hook the red and yellow together but your not supposed to have ducer hot if it's not in the water....what if you Wana have your screen on for GPS or whatever with ducer out of the water...

Always run clean power straight the battery with inline fuse

My clamps barley stay on. Had to wrap electric tape over them to keep from losing them.

Too bad you're showing everyone how to install the module upside down, which increases the risk of water intrusion into the unit if anything is amiss with the connector seals. You might try reading the installation manual that I believe discusses this. Turned correctly, water is far more likely to drip off the cables or module instead of risk getting inside the unit.

Lowrance has the worst costumer service of any unit on the market please consider this when you buy
