To anyone who wants a sick ass revamp mod, check out Saga Edition. It adds a whole slew of new units, skins for each map, such as different clone legions (Utapau giving you 212th, Kashyk having all camo units from the 41st, etc.) and even melee units like clone assassins, Magna guards with their staves, and even red royal guards for the empire. As well as all of the Battlefront 1 maps, and some cut maps from the PSP version of the game. Not to mention they have a lot of cool inspirations taken from the 2003 CW show, which im a huge fan of.

@johnblackburn9574 Saga Edition exists apart from the regular game files. It’s like having 2 games. If you launch from Steam, you get the game as you left it with minimal changes. If you use the Saga Edition launcher, then it’s the modded game. They don’t even share map files or saves.

Also keep in mind if by any chance anakin's remastered version doesn't load up and just shows a black screen only, it's most likely your gpu driver has been outdated, so make sure you update your driver so you can keep playing the mod. 👍

Hey, just installing it and was wondering 2 things: 1. What happens if I click the OG icon for the game? 2 How do i deinstall the mods or are all mods compatible with each other? Would love the help

If you use the og Icon it won't be the right resolution unless you set those parameter's in steam. The HD icon just lets you skip having to do that. To uninstall mods just delete the file you put into the addon folder. Not all mods are compatible with each other thats why you install them one at a time and run the game to see if it still works and doesn't crash! Hope that helps.

Great walkthrough but I'm having trouble with the map mods. I downloaded the Scarif mod and extracted it into the addon file, but when I open up the game, it's not in the instant action select screen. I also tried extracting from the MOP file and got the same result. I then tried doing the process with a different Scarif map to see if it was an issue with the specific mod, but once again, it didn't show up. I'm not really sure what's up, I'm not a techy guy, but maybe the fact that I'm using BreeZip has something to do with it? I noticed you use WinRAR but the other mods were working just fine so I didn't think it mattered.

If you are referring to the Remaster mod, yes you can. Just keep in mind most mods wont be "remastered" as they use different textures etc. Always install new mods one by one though as not every mod is compatible with each other and you may install 2 simple map mods and your game crashes. Easy way to avoid it is just install and uninstall as you play the mods only keeping what you need/use the most. Enjoy the game!

Thanks very much for the helpful info. How come you didn't start right off installing the "Battlefront 3 Legacy mod" to avoid the redundant first couple steps? Does it break something if you install "Battlefront 3 Legacy mod" first? And when you say you can "skip the first couple" steps, do you really mean we can skip the first three mods you listed under the video? Really liked the video except for getting confused on why we didn't start with installing the bf3 legacy mod.

Thats because I never said skip the 3 mods before the Bf3 legacy mod. I said skip the first one (the 1.3 patch as the Remastered mod includes it so you don't need to install it twice) This has nothing to do with Bf3 legacy mod. I just brought that up early in the video has it was on the first page of the mod list and we were looking at it. But after I mention that mod I move onto 1.5r2 mod which, if you are using that mod, it has the 1.3 patch in it. So you can skip the 1.3 patch. The reason I didn't start with 1.5r2 is not everyone will want to remaster the base game, some just want to add map mods/units etc and you atleast need 1.3 patch to mod the game. So depending on what you want to do you might use the 1.3 patch, or the 1.5r2 mod. Hope that clears it up for you. The BF3 legacy mod is not needed to mod the game. 1.3 or 1.5r2 is needed.

So the remastered hud was working for a bit, but then the next time I booted it up, the game reverted the hud to normal. I checked my gamedata files and found that it was in the "addons" folder, which the creator instructs not to do. But every time I try to reinstall it, it just defaults to the addon folder despite me selecting the gamedata folder. And if I try to manually correct it by just moving the folder into gamedata, it either still doesn't work or doesn't boot up at all.

I've installed the patch step by step and it just doesn't work. There's no sign of it having had made any affect on my game. It's in the correct folders and everything, so unless i have accidently installed the patch for a physcial copy-version of the game i have no idea what's wrong.

You could also try launching the game through the Nvidia geforce app and then change the in game settings to borderless fullscreen, sometimes fullscreen causes a blackscreen

Any place I buy this from is unplayable - I am on windows 10, using nvidia graphics. Do the mods allow it to become playable? Any time I load it up, I can play for about 2 minutes and then it becomes unplayable due to stuttering and the audio cuts off.

Right-Click on "Star Wars Battlefront II" in Steam 2. Select Properties 3. Click "Set launch options" 4. Place "/audiomixbuffer 50" (without quotes) into the field and click OK 5. Close the properties window for "Star Wars Battlefront II" NO AUDIO: Courtesty of jayntampa --- 25 Jun, 2014 in these discussion forums; In Windows: 1. Go to START. 2. Go to CONTROL PANEL. 3. Go to HARDWARE AND SOUND. 4. Click on SOUND. 5. Under the RECORDING tab, right click on STEREO MIX and choose ENABLE. 6. Start SWBFII. 7. Go under OPTIONS/AUDIO. 8. Go to the STEREO MIX thingy and scroll to SOFTWARE. P.S. You just MIGHT need to turn the effects ON. Hope one of these options helps.
