What mods are you hoping to see for TCG Card Shop Simulator?

A higher maximum than $1 on bulk boxes would be cool. It's just a pain to get rid of all the $1-$5 cards. I try holding off pack openings to do it, but it's tedious to keep dumping all the cheap cards onto the tables for days to get rid of them. Would rather just toss them into bulk boxes. Wouldn't really call it a "cheat" since you're giving up of a lot of single value if you do dump them into $10 or $20 bulk boxes.

Thanks! Right now there aren't very many mods at all, and I don't see anything for decorations in the couple of dozen mods I can see right now, unfortunately. The only ones that change the looks of anything are the card skin replacer mods.

@@HeyHey-x4x sometimes you have to click around in the tabs to see them, try clicking off the first tab and back into it again. I can’t remember what the tab is called but pretty sure it’s the first one. If you still don’t see any, then there’s probably an issue with the file placement.

Normally I never play games on pc, but I wanted to play this one and am interested in mods. So I installed the BepInEx thing, but I can't get the mods to work. I tried to put the zip file in plugins, tried the extracted file there and even with only the dll file, I don't see any result. Do you have to "start" the mods in any way or should they work automatically? I tried the one that lets you hold more cards in one hand, but I still can only hold 8. Thx.

@@rudiverhoeven1735 when you go into the game and press F1, do you see the menu with bepinex there? If you do, and you can see the mod in the list in that menu, see if it’s configurable, maybe you have to change the number of cards, or enable it somehow? It’s possible the mod just doesn’t work after the game got updated. Try one of the ones I got and test it that way. You have to have the files extracted in the plugins folder. But check pressing F1 first in game and make sure you have bepinex installed correctly first and foremost.

I used this video previously to install the mods and had it working. Thinkning i was going crazy as the f1 command stopped working. I deleted everything. Un installed the game and reinstalled and sat there following this video again reinstalling all the mods and f1 is still not working?!! In the mod window unpon load up it says there are newer versions of the (auto set prices ect.)but there isnt i just installed them! and i checked Nexus mods files tab on each one there isnt anything newer?

Yooo so (hoping anyone reading is having this same issue and found a fix), I downloaded everything for the pokemon mod and that works all perfectly, only thing is my day is stuck to day 1, and it never turns night time. Do I just uninstall everything and restart? Or is there an easier fix

@@thejustinjustin1233 nope, it should all be good. I installed all of these mods after having progress already. But you can always save your progress on another save slot just in case and open that one to see instead of your other slot.

Make sure you are extracting the mods and pitting them in the correct folder, that’s the only thing I can think that would cause this issue.

@@basement_security try the step to “verify the integrity of the game files” in Steam for the game, that usually fixes the loading issues. If you’re not sure how to do that, search it up. Good luck!

Not 100% sure if I’m answering your question but when you extract the zip file, you get a folder. Inside that folder is the bepinex folder you want, along with the files. I show this at 1:35 of the video. You paste all those files into the TCG Card Simulator folder, same place the Card Shop Simulator.exe file is.

pretty simple game to use cheat mods. I know you didn't; just saying. What I'd like to see is integration of parodies of other CCG cards (MTG. YGO, etc). I have a CCG I'm making, I'd love to import my cards in. would make it more fun.

The only thing I can recommend is make sure your bepinex folder is extracted to the same place your Card Shop Simulator.exe file is and follow the instructions in bepinex’s description on Nexus to make sure you are copying the files from inside the bepinex folder to the right place.

For texture mods, you have to put the asset files directly in the Card Shop Simulator_Data folder, not the BepInEx folder.

The modding is horrible for that game. Way to difficult and way to prone to issues. I just wanted to have MTG Cards... Which means I needed to "install" a bunch of mods, which means there are always issues.... Which really sucks. Also its very hard to understand what mods you need. You might wanne have mod for mtg cards, there it says it needs mod A and B. So you go and get mod A and B. Mod A says it needs a special version of Mod B to work, but with that your mtg mod wont work...

Your explanation of extracting the files is a bit horrible bruh you didn't give any details that you have to open another file Explorer tab or on where your selecting you missed quite a few steps at 1:11 that Is a bit vital for some people that never modded on pc before. Really needs more explanation on that area altogether so it can be followed more properly.

No, nexus mods checks fir virusses, but most of the time if it isnt a .exe or .bat or any executible file, you should be fine
