How to Install MongoDB on Windows 11

In this video I am going to show How to install MongoDB on Windows 11 operating system. We Will see How to Install MongoDB Community Edition on Windows. Also we will see How to run MongoDB as Windows Service.
MongoDB is one of the most used, open-source document database, and NoSQL database. MongoDB is developed by 11gen. It is written in c++ and it is a document-oriented database. It uses BSON format.
show dbs-Print a list of all databases on the server.
use {db} - Switch current database to {db}
show collections-Print a list of all collections for current database.
db.collection.find()-Find all documents in the collection and returns a cursor.

Installed MongoDB 6 Community on Windows 11. mongo command doesn't work! mongod works. And MongoDB is added to user variables. There's no mongo.exe file in the bin folder. It only contain a PowerShell script, mongod.exe, mongos.exe, some DLL files, and 1 other file.

@@pratikshapansare5558 Yeah it's just use mongosh whenever you have to use mongo command. the mongo use is deprecated. Extra tip- Download the cloud tools too because they have almost all the dpendencies.
