I've had bad luck with stud finders too. I use a neodymium magnet (strong magnet) and find the nails in the stud! Not great if you need the exact sensor of the stud, but otherwise perfect. Might get these monkey hooks tho, thank you!

So I’m moving into an apartment soon and I have this mirror mosaic picture in my bedroom. Would recommend use 4 hooks to hold the picture up or would that be really risky?

Thanks for your question! I think that it would really depend on the weight of what you are looking to hang. I believe the hooks I used recommending only putting 25 lbs on each hook.

you could use many hooks to ensure that it stays up, that would work. but if you're questioning if these hooks would hold it, you should probably just put screws into the studs instead
