@@NizhonixMoto Seconded...I was feeling awful dense, terribly afraid that I was going to snap the hinges off of the replacement one as well. This video saved me eighty nine bucks, thank you!

It's videos like this that help the Indian brand. As an Indian motorcycle owner. I get it. It will also put a spot light on the dealership staff. They are helpful. Positive. Competent. Good job.

Great Video and thank you! I bought a replacement latch at my local Indian Dealership for $55.00. I thought I was going to have to remove the whole glove box to replace just the latch, until I watched your video. Thanks again for the video!

Thank you, thank you. My garage remote was sitting on my USB and caused the lid hinge to break when I shut the lid. Your video was extremely helpful. And Panama City Indian is awesome! Bought my last Indian from them. Ride safe.

I watched your video a few months ago, but I didn't need to do this repair back then. I'm glad that I remembered your video because my door hinge had busted just a couple of days ago. Thanks to you, I now know what part number that I need. Thanks! Keep up the great work!

Ouch. Fortunately for us there are still replacement parts available. It just sucks that these parts tend to have a short lifespan.

I've used a picked tool to get down the space and there is a tab on the inner part of the latch....if you feel you broken part of the top plastic square piece on top it's all connected to the latch you are trying to replace...I have an email & can send you pictures of the parts, I have not thrown away.

You've addressed one of two known weak points on the Chieftain / Roadmaster. The glove box door. The second weak point is the windshield activator. More specifically, the worm gear assembly. Have you had any problems with yours ? I've had one of the actuator assemblies fail on me. Simply raise and lower the windshield as usual. But do not use the auto function. Adjust the height of the windshield manually. Never bottom out the windshield. Either at its highest point. Or lowest point.

No the windshield hasn't happen to me yet (knock on wood) but a friend with a 2020 Challenger his did but he was able to get it replace. I usually don't mess with the windshield unless I'm on the interstate so fingers cross.
