Did you noticed the difference between the file names? *Web Installer:* mysql-installer-web-community-8.0.34.0.msi *Installation file:* mysql-installer-community-8.0.34.0.msi One is a web installer. What does that mean? It will download all packages from the internet while installing, It may take time and halt. Therefore, I went for 331.3M instead of 2.4M. The 331.3 M will also install packages from the internet, but not all since the 331.4 MB is already the installation file.

Hi amit , i have done all the procoess , have checked command prompt and create new database but final step it shows mysql workbench could not detect any mysql server running . This means that mysql is not installed or is not running kindly give ideas to resolve this
