This Mod is based off the latest NASCAR Heat 5 2022 Update & DLC from MSG.
Please don’t use files from this mod publicly without permission from the NH5 22-23 Season PC Mod Team.
This is a PC Mod for NASCAR Heat 5 based primarily upon the 2022 & 2023 NASCAR seasons and includes changes to the Cup series, Xfinity series, Truck series, and Dirt series for the PC version of NASCAR Heat 5. The editing for this Mod was created using the NASCAR Heat 5 PC Ultimate Edition with all patches and DLCs available from 704Games installed including the recent 2022 Update from Motorsport Games. There is a very significant amount of editing required to create this Mod, so a typo here & there is possible, but the Mod team has not found any editing errors so far that cause the game to crash. I will not promise extensive support for this Mod since I simply do not have time as Mod development keeps moving forward and we all have families that come first. Please keep in mind that this Mod was primarily created for offline racing. I do not race online, but I have been told that as long as all online users have the same Mod installed that online play works fine…but beware of this if you choose to install.
This NH5 2022-2023 Season PC Mod is very similar to our previously released & popular NH5 2021 Season, NH5 2022 Season, and NH5 2023 Season BETA PC Mods. The primary difference is that this Mod now includes the 2022 Update & DLC recently released by Motorsport Games which includes the NextGen Cup car model. The MSG update creates two sections to select from when starting the game: 2020 season and 2022 season. This Mod updates the 2020 season to the 2022 season for all series (Cup, Xfinity, Trucks, Dirt) and updates the 2022 season to the 2023 season for the Cup series…hence the name NH5 2022-2023 Season PC Mod. All references going forward in this ReadMe to the ‘2022 season’ refer to the MSG 2020 season from the latest update and all references going forward in this ReadMe to the ‘2023 season’ refer to the MSG 2022 season from the latest update.
While the same MSG NextGen Cup car model is used in both sections of the game, there are some key differences between the NextGen Cup in the 2022 Season versus the 2023 Season in this Mod.
2022 NASCAR Cup Series (replaces the 2020 Cup season from MSG):
43 new Cup Drivers from the 2022 NASCAR season.
The 30 Classic/Popular/Fictional drivers from the past have been removed until these paints can be updated to the new NextGen Cup Model templates.
43 new 2022 Cup Series primary paint schemes from the 2022 NASCAR season.
Additional Cup paints (exported from N21 game) plan to be added down the road for the 2022-2023 Mod.
All 2022 Pit Objects use the default paint scheme sponsors (Pit Crews, Pit Boxes, Box Logos, Driver Suits, and Driver Helmets).
Some driver suits match the alternate paint scheme when available to export from N21 game.
Test paints for the 2022 Cup season will match the default paints since we utilized the 2022 MSG paints for the Mod and test paints were not completed by MSG.
All brand new 2022 Cup Series Driver Photos.
Updated driver ratings for all 2022 Cup Series drivers are included based from actual performance & results through the end of the 2022 NASCAR season.
2022 Cup Teams have been updated.
You will see the correct NASCAR Cup Team names as well as the correct Drivers on the correct Teams as part of Cup series Career Mode.
Cup Series Championship Schedules have been updated and the 2022 Full Schedule and 2022 Playoff Schedule have been added. Please note that COTA and Nashville SS are not available in the game and Bristol Dirt is not available to race within this section of the game at this point. Mid-Ohio is substituted for COTA & Kentucky for Nashville within the new 2022 schedule. Bristol Day is also used in place of Bristol Dirt for this 2022 schedule.
I also replaced all the Fantasy schedules that 704Games created with some better options in my opinion (including the 2019, 2020, and 2021 Cup schedules) - check these out in Championship Mode! Please note that Career Mode uses the 2022 Full Schedule that most closely matches the actual 2022 Cup schedule.

@@SapphireCC But that games considered one of the worst NASCAR games to do did so poorly NASCAR pulled the licence from Motorsport Games and given it to the team at iRacing as NASCAR 21 seen as a bad game with bad Physics and UI hell games from 10 years ago handle better than NASCAR 21 ever has.

I love the mod! However when I start a career 2023 season and select SVG as my driver the car defaults to a blank 99 car. if I select any other car I get the correct one. I can play as svg in race now.

I followed the steps, the game works fine. I started by selecting Season 2022. Start a new career but won't let me start or chose where to start (trucks, xfinity, etc), straight to Cup. Alright, I start anyway, first race at Daytona and it won't let me change the setup, only the generic tight or loose slider, no option to change the full setup. Did I miss something? Edit: it seems it works if chosing Season 2020 (can pick what series to start, can edit setup).

Mines messed up like for the 18 it says Ty Gibbs but with Kyle busches car I have the DLC 22 but not the 2020 dlcs

Followed your steps perfectly, but as soon as the intro movie plays and I hit start it crashes. Any clue as to what's wrong? NVM. I figured it out. Bought the Ultimate Edition thinking it included all DLC, but it didn't include the MSG update. Bought that and all is good now. Thanks for the vid.

Hi I'm having trouble installing the mod. I did everything in the video but the cars aren't there and the 2020 paint schemes are on the next gen body. I have driver photos, numbers and driver names in there and I have the updated career schedule on the game but I don't have any of the newer modded cars?

Make sure you delete your save data file in your nascar heat 5 folder. Should be located in your documents or user folder

@@hey_its_kev I guess they did. They won’t work with the DLC msg brought out. You need the DLC to make this new mod work. It’s pretty good, I think nascar heat 5 will be the new nr2003
