How To Install New Headlight Housings On A GS300/GS400/Aristo! 🔥🔥🔥

Finally had enough of those old crusty headlights! Ordered myself some fresh new OEM+ housings with LED bulbs for my birthday and finally installing them. I can’t believe how sick these turned out! It really is the little things that will just set a car off. Between the headlights and throwing the front lip on, it looks like a whole new car!

Clean!! I got a silver 2000 gs300 & definitely want to get some OEM looking headlights back on it. I got black housing ones currently but they’re peeling bad & im starting to dig the OEM look a lot more now. Recommendations on bulbs?

That’s awesome to hear! You really can’t go wrong with LED bulbs these days. HIDs used to be hit or miss but LED ones off Amazon always work great and last. 😎👌

I have a question my brother was saying the aftermarket headlights that have the little led circles in them you need like a new bulb too and said don’t get them should I just get the ones u have

Sorry for the delay! So those will come with the lights already installed and you can’t replace the halos, once they go bad. You will have to cut the harness open and wiring them in to the parking lights, if that’s how you want them to come on. Personally, I don’t recommend those because cutting into a harness can cause more issues down the road and they just don’t last. It’s whatever your style is, but they do require more work

@dirtythirteen I remember asking you why you changed the Halos and you mentioned the rings etc. I'm not sure how long ago you've had yours. But mine are made with the projectors able come out with Halo, and for the low beam it's the same. I guess they've upgraded. I got mine from Pro Tuning Lab, made by CG DISTRIBUTIONS.

@@downbadapparel okay thank you. I got just the headlamps they look sm better than the ones I got now. They’re the original ones so they’re getting a lil yellow. Also are wheels 19s? They’re tuff

@@covinobeats very cool! Fresh headlights really set a car off. The wheels are actually 18x10 and are FR500’s which are Ford Mustang wheels. Lol but you gotta order all rear wheels bc Mustangs run staggered with a lot skinnier wheel up front that won’t have the lips. 👌

@@804MRMAN gotcha! Yea I’m not sure what mine were. They were on the car when I bought it and they were just rough. Half the lights didn’t work and wiring was jacked up. I just love a simple oem+ headlight so that’s why I went with these.

i have a question i have factory HID's, am i able to just buy the same oem housings like these with mine being HID's? or are these only for LED's

So mine originally came with your very basic halogen bulbs and I just ordered LED bulbs that are the same part number, so that the harness still plugs in the same. As long as the HID bulbs are the same part number as what comes with the new headlights, you’re all good to go! Switching from one style bulb to another is usually plug and play, they will just look different or come with a ballast box that converts it to your style.

Lmao I did exactly the same thing for my birthday, ordered some oem+ and leds as well for my gs to get rid of the same aftermarket headlights (dark). Thank you for this vid, can't wait to get to it this weekend! p.s do you recommend to do anything to preserve them or keep them from turning yellow?

Haha that’s sick, dude!! It’s a pretty easy install with your basic tools like a 10mm. I’d say go on and upgrade the bulbs to LED while it’s all apart. Will make them pop that much more! And you can never go wrong with some yellow fog lights in the bumper!! 🔥🔥😂 Good luck and hope it turns out nice!
